| SubhanAllah how time works... |

| Assalamaulaik wa Rahmathullahi wa Barakaathuh, Among the many things I've learned this year, there has been one particular lesson that seems to be really unique. Alhamdulillah, Allah (SWT) has given me the blessing to know many, many people. Some who were extraordinary, others who were "average" and still others were just SubhanAllah...(both in the positive and negative sense .) The point is, at one point or another a person will somehow grow attached another; and when the time of separation or departure comes, it hurts. No one said that departures would go smoothly. But, we need to program ourselves in a way where we don't get so attached. It's hard, I know. But think about it. All will perish sooner or later. You may experience a "fallout" or that person growing attached to someone else and the love that you gave sometimes will never be reciprocated causing you to feel devastated. Grow attachment to Allah (SWT), the Everlasting Companion, Who will NEVER betray you, Who is always by your side and has more power to alter things than anyone else. When you cry and complain or smile and rejoice to Him (SWT), He (the All-Hearing) hears all. One third of Ramadan has passed. What better time to grow attachment and establish a strong relationship with the Supreme Being other than now?
